ATHENS — The Firemen jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead, but Williams Nissan rallied for a 14-6 win here Thursday night in Athens Little League Minors Division baseball action.
Williams Nissan scored four runs in the home half of the inning, then plated single runs in the second and third innings, before putting the game away with five runs in the fourth inning to take an 11-5 lead.
Kolsen Keathley had four hits, including a triple and a double, scored three runs, and had five RBI, and Oliver Johnson had three hits, including a double, and scored three runs to lead Williams Nissan at the plate.
Chase Satterly doubled and singled, scored a run, and had two RBI in the win, while Dylan Saxon singled, scored three runs, and drove in a run, Ethan Kinner singled, scored three runs, and had two RBI, Hayden Bartlow singled and knocked in a run, Kamdyn Wheeler singled and scored a run, and Austyn Stedge and Gavin Lambert each drove in a run.
Sean Clare singled twice, scored two runs, and had an RBI, and Xavier Watson doubled and singled, scored a run, and drove in a run to lead the Firemen at the plate.
Collin Dawson singled, scored a run, and drove in a run, and Keaton Sinsabaugh added a single for the Firemen, while Tyler Goodenow and Gabe Levering each crossed the plate once.
