IAC BOYS CROSS COUNTRY: STEELE LEADS TIOGA TO 7TH-PLACE FINISH AT CONWICKE-STOCK INVITATIONAL (2017-10-08)

ENDICOTT  Tioga sophomore Ezra Steele finished ninth at the Conwicke-Stock Invitational to lead the Tigers to a seventh-place finish here Saturday in boys cross action.

Union-Endicott won the team title with 38 placement points, while Vestal was second with 55 points, and Oneonta was a distant third with 112 points. Tioga had 193 points, and Towanda was 10th with 283 points.

Steele clocked in at 18:18, well off the pace of first-place finisher Noah Farrelly of Binghamton.

Sophomore Ty Middendorf finished 37th for the Tigers in a time of 20:29, while freshman Evan Hubbard was 40th in 20:47, freshman Kyle Earley was 52nd in 22:43, and junior Lucas Klossner was 55th in 23:40.

VARSITY GIRLS

Faith Burrowes was the lone competitor for the Lady Tigers, and finished 28th in a time of 29:28.

MODIFIED BOYS
Mason Card finished 55th for Tioga in a time of 13:21, and Eric Clarida was 87th in a time of 18:20.

MODIFIED GIRLS

Kate Burrowes finished 12th for Tioga in a time of 13:39.
