THE VALLEY  There are only four games on the docket on a slow Wednesday, but three of them are home games.

BOYS SOCCER
Sayre (7-9) at NEB (4-7), 4 p.m.:
The Redskins are coming off a 6-2 loss at Galeton Monday, while the Panthers dropped a 5-0 loss to Sullivan County.

Sayre needs to win its final two games to reach .500 and qualify for the Section IV, Class A playoffs.

In their first meeting, NEB won a 4-3 decision in double-overtime.

GIRLS SOCCER
Cincinnatus (12-1-1) at SVEC (8-6), 4:30 p.m. @ Candor H.S.:
The Lady Eagles are coming off a 2-1 loss to Newark Valley Tuesday, while the Lady Lions beat DeRuyter, 4-1.

Cincinnatus has outscored its opponents 62-4 this season. Its only loss was a 1-0 decision against Cooperstown.

VOLLEYBALL
Newark Valley (5-6) at Waverly (6-6. 6-5), 5 p.m. JV start:
The Lady Wolverines are coming off a sweep of S-VE.

In their first meeting, the Lady Cardinals won an epic five-set thriller. NV won the first set 25-23, but Waverly won the second set 25-17. Newark Valley won the third set 25-22, but Waverly again answered with a 25-10 win in the fourth set. NV capped off the match with a 25-17 win in the fifth set.

Edison (8-4) at S-VE (4-9), 5 p.m. JV start: The Lady Panthers are coming off a 3-0 loss to Waverly.

In their first meeting, the Lady Spartans won in a sweep by scores of 25-19, 25-13, and 25-14.

JUNIOR HIGH FOOTBALL
Athens at Troy, 5 p.m.:
