WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: TIOGA GRAD COLE FINISHES SECOND AT CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR SECOND YEAR IN A ROW; LEADS MARYWOOD TO THIRD STRAIGHT TEAM TITLE (2017-11-06)

MEDIA, Pa. — Tioga grad Kelby Cole, a senior on the Marywood College women’s cross country team, finished second in the Colonial States Athletics Conference championship meet for the second consecutive year to lead the Lady Pacers to their third straight league title.

Marywood was won seven of the last eight CSAC titles, and 13 in program history.

Cole clocked in at 25:48.6, and became just the fifth runner in Marywood program history to finish in the top two in back-to-back seasons.

Cedar Crest junior Angelina Biondo won individual gold in a time of 24:51.5.

The Lady Pacers return to action Saturday at the NCAA Regionals at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa.
