WOMEN'S COLLEGE TRACK & FIELD: TIOGA GRAD BOWEN WINS TWO EVENTS AT GOLDEN WOLVES OEPN; NAMED TO CONFERENCE HONOR ROLL (2018-04-18)

READING, Pa. — Tioga grad Malley Bowen, a sophomore on the Keystone College women’s track & field team, was recently named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) honor roll for her performance April 7 here at the Golden Wolves Open at Alvernia University.

Bowen placed in three events at the Golden Wolves, including a pair of first-place finishes.

Bowen won the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 16.65 seconds, and also won the long jump with a leap of 16-feet, 7 1/4-inches.

Bowen finished fifth in the 200-meter dash in 29.6 seconds.

At Collegeville, Bowen placed in a pair of events at the season-opening Ursinus College Invitational on March 31.

Bowen placed third in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.11 seconds. She clocked in at 16.99 second in the preliminaries. She also placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 16-feet, 4 1/4-inches.

Bowen finished 17th in the 200-meter dash in 29.39 seconds.

Keystone College returns to action April 21 at the Misericordia Invitational.
