COLLEGE BASEBALL: WAVERLY GRAD STILLMAN RIDING 9-GAME HITTING STREAK AT HERKIMER COLLEGE (2018-05-06)

HERKIMER, N.Y. — Waverly grad Brendyn Stillman, a freshman on the nationally-ranked Herkimer College baseball team, is currently on a nine-game hitting streak.

On Sunday, Stillman doubled, and singled, scored two runs, and drove in three runs to lead the Generals, sixth in the latest NJCAA’s Division III rankings, to a 12-3 win over Schenectady County Community College.

During the hitting streak, Stillman is hitting .387 (12 hits in 31 at-bats) with three doubles, three triples, and one home run, 12 RBI,  and13 runs scored.

On the season, Stillman leads the Generals with six triples, and 41 RBI. He is second on the team in hits (38), doubles (10), home runs (5), eighth stolen bases, and runs scored (35), and is third on the team with a  .458 batting average (38 hits in 83 ABs).

Stillman does not have an error in the outfield, and has one outfield assist.

Herkimer, now 28-5, returns to action Tuesday in a doubleheader at Mohawk CC.
