WAVERLY — The Tomasso’s / WJ Graphics Astros scored six runs in the top of the first inning, and rolled to a 21-3 romp over the Just in Time Roofing / SAL SQD #283 Phillies here Wednesday night in Waverly Little League Majors Division baseball action.
Sean Bubniak had three hits, including a double, scored two runs, and had six RBI, and Joey Tomasso had three hits, including a double, scored three runs, and had two RBI to pace the Astros at the plate, while Ben Shaw had three hits, three runs scored, and four RBI, and Hogan Shaw stroked three singles, scored three runs, and had three RBI.
Brayden Talada singled twice, scored three runs, and drove in one run in the win, while Jerry Carnrike singled, scored two runs, and drove in one run, Nolan Beeman doubled and scored two runs, Trenton Serafin singled twice, and scored two runs, and Lincoln Sharpsteen singled and scored a run.
Talada allowed three runs on three hits, while striking out four, and walking two to earn the win for the Astros.
Jacob Benjamin singled twice and scored a run to lead the Phillies at the plate, while Charlie Larrabee singled and scored a run, and Nehemiah Anthony scored a run.
