|(UPDATED) YOUTH FOOTBALL: FORMER TCU, NFL LINEMEN TO LEAD 'BIG UGLIES O-LINE CLINIC' JULY 31 AT ATHENS (2018-07-19)

ATHENS Athens football will host the Big Uglies O-Line Clinic, featuring former TCU and NFL linemen Mike Keathley and David Bobo, here July 31 at the Athens Area Alumni Stadium.
Registration for the clinic is at 9 a.m. with the clinic set to run from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is open for athletes in grades nine through 12. There is a cost of $35, which includes camp instruction, T-shirt and lunch.
The clinic is named in honor of the linemen that played in front of Heisman Trophy and all-time NFL great LaDainian Tomlinson at TCU, including Keathley and Bobo. TCU led the nation in rushing in 1999 and 2000.
Keathley was a three-time Western Athletic Conference first-team performer at offensive tackle from 1998-2000. He played in the 2000 Senior Bowl.
Keathley was an undrafted free agent in the NFL, but played three seasons with the San Diego Chargers, appearing in 36 games, including four starts, from 2001-03.
Bobo was a two-time all-WAC first-team selection on the offensive line. He was with the Steelers in 2001.
Players will be taught techniques and skills in the following areas:
Stance and starts;
Pulling and trapping; and
Pass protection techniques.
