Valley Sports Report
SAYRE — Sayre bounced back from a first-set loss for a 3-1 win over Northeast Bradford here Thursday evening in NTL Small School volleyball action.

The Lady Redskins, 3-7 overall, have now won three in a row.

"They crushed us in the sets at NEB, so It's great to play them again and be competitive," said Sayre coach Tom Shay. "Once again it was a great team effort.

"I told the girls in order to beat (NEB), everyone had to have a good night as they are arguably the most athletic Northeast team I have ever faced," he noted. "For the first time this year, we had a team-wide positive hitting percentage.

"We are getting better each match," added Shay. "Hopefully it will continue."

NEB won the first set 25-19, but the Lady Redskins bounced back with consecutive wins of 25-23, 25-20, and 25-17.
