LeRAYSVILLE — Jude Jampo scored two goals, including his 50th career goal, in the first 10 minutes of the game to lead Northeast Bradford to an 8-0 win over Sayre here Thursday afternoon in an NTL boys soccer match shortened due to heavy rains and field conditions.
Jump scored 67 seconds into the game off a feed from Brandon Kuhn, then scored a gain 10 minutes into the game off an assist from Brady Hopkins to make it 2-0.
Brandon Kuhn, Caleb Uhouse, and Brady Brown scored goals in a 9 1/2-minute span to give the Panthers a 5-0 lead with 11:50 remaining in the first half. Brown and Carter Johnson were credited with assists on the first two goals.
Collin Cowles, off an assist from Henric Ricci, scored three minutes into the second half to push the lead to 6-0.
After an own goal by Redskins three minutes later extended the lead to 7-0, Johnson scored his first varsity goal 9 1/2 minutes into the second half to provide the final margin.
The game was called with 24 minutes remaining.
NEB had a 22-4 advantage on shots-on-goal, and a 4-0 edge in corner kicks.
Sophomore Conner Young had 11 saves for the Redskins, and junior Nic Ficarro added four saves.
Sayre, now 1-13, returns to action Saturday at Northern Potter.
