WAVERLY — Junior Mackenzie Plouse rolled a career-high 723 series to lead Waverly to a sweep of Notre Dame here Wednesday afternoon in IAC girls bowling action.
The Lady Wolverines started the day with a 909-684 win in the first game, then closed out the match with wins of 770-741, and 873-710 for a total-pinfall victory of 2,552 to 2,135.
Plouse rolled a career-high 275 to start off her set and finished with games of 214 and 234.
Eighth-grader Victoria Houseknecht shot a 514 for Waverly, while senior Sarah Uhl rolled a 488, 7th-grader Rachel Houseknecht had a 473, and senior Kari VanAllen added a 354. Senior Sarah Wood chipped in with a 290.
Junior Morgan Lee added a 370, and junior Megan Lee had a 355 in reserve for the Lady Wolverines.
Abigail Connolly led Notre Dame with a 523 series, and Wellsburg’s Rachelle Williams added a 507.
Waverly, now 8-0, hosts Tioga Thursday.
