IAC BOYS BOWLING: POND, SHERMAN LEAD TIOGA IN LOPSIDED SWEEP OF EDISON (2018-12-05)

WAVERLY — Sophomore Kolton Pond and senior Jason Sherman led Tioga to a lopsided sweep of Thomas A. Edison here Wednesday afternoon in IAC boys bowling action at the Valley Bowling Center.

The Tigers, now 18-2, won the first game 1,156-833, then followed it up with wins of 1,031-778, and 935-815 for a total-pinfall victory of 3,122 to 2,426.

Pond banged out a 670 series on games of 227, 246, and 197, and Jason Sherman rolled a 667 on games of 275, 212 and 180.

Senior Eric Sherman shot a 596 on games of 255, 193, and 148 for the Tigers, while senior Mason Trollman rolled a 584, freshman Dylan Slater added a 564, and senior A.J. Middendorf tacked on a 498.

Senior Rocco Fardello rolled a 543 in reserve for Tioga.

Damien Parlo led Edison with a 598 series and Kenny Mattison added a 447.

Tioga returns to action Tuesday at O-M.
