THE VALLEY  A light night is highlighted by the renewal of the Athens-Sayre girls basketball rivalry, as well as Waverly hosting Towanda on the mats.

The unbeaten Waverly boys swim team is also at home this afternoon.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Sayre (6-4) at Athens (5-4), 6:30 p.m. (Varsity only):
The Lady Redskins are coming off a 56-28 win over Williamson Tuesday night, while the Lady Wildcats dropped a 41-32 decision at Cowanesque Valley.

Sayre is tied atop the Small School standings with North Penn-Mansfield, while Athens and Towanda trail Wellsboro by 1 game in the loss column.

WRESTLING
Towanda (9-5) at Waverly (6-11), 7 p.m.:
The Wolverines are coming off a 69-9 loss to Tioga Wednesday night, while the Black Knights dropped a 40-31 decision to Troy.

The match of the night could be at 120 pounds with Waverly freshman Garrett Skeens squaring off with Towanda junior Tyler Hawley.

Dryden at Tioga (4-0), 7 p.m. ... PPD.

BOYS SWIMMING
Towanda at Waverly (9-0), 4:30 p.m.

BOYS & GIRLS BOWLING
Waverly at Lansing, 4 p.m.
