THE VALLEY - Just one game on the docket on Martin Luther King Day, and it has the Sayre girls on the road at Canton in a make-up game from Saturday.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Sayre (10-4) at Canton (6-8), 6:30 p.m. (varsity only): The Lady Redskins are coming off a 77-20 win at North Penn-Liberty Thursday, while the Lady Warriors were thumped 56-16 at Northeast Bradford.

Sayre can sew up a berth in the upcoming District 4, Class AA playoffs with a a win.

The Lady Redskins are currently fifth in the power points standings, with Southern Columbia (11-3), South Williamsport (11-3), North Penn-Mansfield (11-3), and Mount Carmel (7-6) filling in the top four spots in the rankings.
