DALLAS, Pa. - Junior Paige Wampole, a junior on the Misericordia women's basketball team, recorded a double-double Monday, and just missed another on Thursday as the Lady Cougars split a pair of Freedom Conference games this week.

On Monday, Wampole recorded her third double-double of the season, scoring 11 points and hauling down 13 rebounds, including five offensive boards, to go along with two blocked shots, two assists, and two steals. She also made 5 of her 9 shots from the field in a 68-59 loss to DeSales.

On Wednesday, Wampole had nine points and 10 rebounds, as well as two blocked shots and two assists in 78-63 win over Delaware Valley

On the season, Wampole has started in all 20 of Misericordia's games, and is averaging 21.4 minutes on the floor per game.

She is averaging 6.8 points and 7.0 rebounds per game (second on the team), as well as 1.1 assists, 0.8 steals, and a team-high 1.5 blocked per game.

Wampole is shooting 45.7 percent from the field, and 63 percent (29 of 46) from the free-throw line.

After a 16-0 start, Misericordia is 2-2 in its last four games, and returns to action Saturday at Manhattanville College in Purchase, N.Y.
