HERKIMER, N.Y. - Waverly grad Brendyn Stillman, a sophomore on the nationally-ranked Herkimer Community College baseball team, has committed to play Division I baseball at St. Bonaventure beginning with the 2020 season.

Stillman, a freshman All-American for Herkimer last season, helped the Generals to the NJCAA World Series as the No. 1 seed. Herkimer is ranked third in the nation in the 2019 preseason polls.

Stillman hit  .422 in 2018, with 13 doubles, seven triples, nine home runs, and 54 RBI.

"(Brendyn) Stillman is a naturally-gifted player with power to all parts of the field," said Herkimer CC coach Jason Rathbun. "St. Bonaventure is getting a quality student-athlete."

Stillman will be joined by current Tioga senior Pierce Hendershot as newcomers, and will join Sayre grad Matt Williams, currently a sophomore for the Bonnies, on the St. Bonaventure program in 2019-20.
