YOUTH BASKETBALL: ATHENS' WHEELER ADVANCES TO STATE FINALS OF ELKS HOOP SHOOT (2019-02-06)

BANGOR, Pa. - Athens' Addyson Wheeler won here age group at the Elks Hoop Shoot District competition here Saturday and will advance to shoot at the state finals.

Wheeler made 18 of 25 to win the 12- & 13-year-old girls division title. She will complete at States on March 2 at Bellefonte Area High School.

Athens' Kamdyn Wheeler finished second in the boys 8- & 9-year-old boys division by making 14 of 25 shots.

Sayre's Hogan Shaw also took second in the boys 10- & 11-year-old division by making 20 of 25.
