ROCHESTER - Athens grads Kaidon Winters and Chris Horton each notched a pair of victories Sunday afternoon to help nationally-ranked RIT to wins over Alfred State and Penn College of Technology to establish a new program record for duals win in a season.

The Tigers, ranked 19th in the nation, improves to 12-2 on the season, eclipsing the record mark of 11 set 60 years ago in the 1958-59 season.

In a 53-0 win over Alfred State, Horton, a freshman 133-pounder, scored a 17-2 technical fall over Jesse Pitoni.

Winters, a sophomore 157-pounder, picked up a win when Mike Galton was injured and unable to continued just 1:10 into their bout.

In the nightcap, RIT forged a 38-9 win over Penn College of Technology.

Horton decked Penn College's Colin Jens in 1:19 at 133 pounds, while Winters flatted Makeela Fabrizio in 1:12 at 157 pounds.

Wyalusing grad Dylan Otis earned a win at 285 pounds for Penn College with a 3-1 decision over Connor Calkins.

Winters, ranked second in the nation, is 27-0 on the season with 14 falls, including a 14-0 record in duals. Horton is 24-6, including a 13-1 mark in duals.

RIT returns to action Saturday at the Mideast-Southeast Futures at Muhlenberg College in Allentown.
