WOMEN'S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: WAVERLY GRAD NITTINGER POSTS DOUBLE-DOUBLE IN NYACK LOSS (2019-02-10)

LAKEWOOD TOWNSHIP, N.J. - Waverly grad Elle Nittinger, a freshman on the Nyack College women's basketball team, recorded a double-double Saturday, but the Lady Warriors dropped a 68-58 decision to Georgian Court.

Nittinger scored 17 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, hauled down 10 rebounds, and had two steals in 31 minutes on the floor.

On Tuesday, NIttinger, who was returning from a three-game absence due to illness, came off the bench for five points, seven rebounds and three steals in a 64-52 loss to Post University.

On the season, Nittinger leads the team with 13.2 points per game, and 48 3-pointers. She is second on the team with 5.5 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.

Nyack, now 3-19, returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Bloomfield.
