Connor Hanafin is off to a torrid start in his first season at Frederick Community College.
Hanafin is hitting a team-best .692 with nine hits, including one double and one home run, in 13 at-bats. He has also drawn four walks and been hit by a pitch for a .778 on-base percentage.
Hanafin also has three RBI and a slugging percentage of 1,000.
On Thursday, Hanafin belted a three-run home run, and scored two runs in Frederick CC's 17-0 win over the College of Southern Maryland in the first game of a doubleheader.
In the nightcap, Hanafin singled and scored three runs in a 25-1 win.
Frederick CC, now 8-4, returns to action Saturday when it hosts Cecil College in a doubleheader.
