COLLEGE BASEBALL: WAVERLY GRAD STILLMAN OFF TO QUICK START FOR NATIONALLY-RANKED HERKIMER CC (2019-03-20)

AUBURNDALE, Fla. - Waverly grad Brendyn Stillman, a sophomore on the Herkimer CC baseball team, is off to a quick start in helping the Generals to six wins in a row at the RussMatt Central Florida Baseball Invitational at the Lake Myrtle Sports Complex.

Stillman, who will play at Division I St. Bonaventure next year, is hitting .429 (6 hits in 14 ABs) with one double, six runs scored, five RBI, and one stolen base in a 16-6 win over Northern Essex.

On Sunday, Stillman was 3-for-4 with a double, three runs scored, three RBI, and a stolen base.

Last year, Stillman was named second Junior College All-American last year after batting .422 with 13 doubles, seven triples, nine home runs, 54 RBI, and nine stolen bases.

The Generals, who are ranked 7th in the nation, play three more games in Florida this week.
