COLLEGE BASEBALL: TIOGA GRAD HENDERSHOT HAS THREE HITS IN WEEKEND SERIES AGAINST MINNESOTA (2019-03-26)

Parker Hendershot had three hits in nine at-bats in Penn State's weekend series against Minnesota, but the Nittany Lions were swept in their initial Big-10 series of the season.
Hendershot singled in two at-bats in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Golden Gophers.
Hendershot was 0-for-4 with an RBI in a 7-5 loss in the opening game of Sunday's doubleheader. In the nightcap, Hendershot stroked a pair of singles and scored two runs.
On the season, Hendershot is batting .284 (21 hits in 74 ABs) with two doubles, one triple, nine runs scored and eight RBI. He also has three stolen bases.
Defensively, Hendershot has a fielding percentage of .973 with three errors in 111 defensive chances at first base.
Penn State, now 13-6, returns to action tonight when it hosts Binghamton, then hits the road for a three-game weekend series at Purdue.
