DIMOCK, Pa. — Elk Lake scored three consecutive goals to rally from an early deficit, then held on for a 3-2 win over Sayre here Saturday morning in non-league boys soccer action.

Senior Jordan Rockwell scored on a free kick six minutes into the game to give Sayre an early 1-0 lead.

Kevin Valvano scored in the 26th minute for Elk Lake to tie the game, and Alex Bradish scored in the final minute of the first half to give the Rams a 2-1 lead heading into the halftime intermission.

Bradish scored again midway through the second half to push Elk Lake’s lead to 3-1.

Rockwell scored his second goal of the game with six minutes remaining in the contest off a through-ball from junior Alex Krall.

Elk Lake had a 9-7 edge in shots-on-goal, and a 3-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Sophomore Camden Wheeler recorded six saves in net for the Redskins, while Jacob Kelley had five saves for Elk Lake.

Sayre, now 2-2, returns to action Tuesday when it hosts Towanda.
