THE VALLEY — With the regular-season winding down, there are a few things still to be determined, and one of those is the NTL girls soccer title.

This afternoon, Athens hosts Troy in what is essentially a game for the league title.

The Waverly girls swim team, and Athens volleyball is also home today.

GIRLS SOCCER
Troy (9-0-1) at Athens (9-2-2), 5:30 p.m.:
The Lady Wildcats are coming off a 2-1 loss to Class AA (N.Y. State’s highest classification) Elmira Monday, while the Lady Trojans topped Williamson Saturday.

Both teams are unbeaten in NTL play, and tied each other 1-1 in their first meeting earlier this season. This afternoon’s game will likely decide the league title.

Sayre (8-4-1) at Mansfield (3-9-1), 4 p.m.: The Lady Redskins are coming off a 7-1 win over Williamson Thursday, while the Lady Tigers dropped a 5-0 decision at Troy.

Senior Madisyn Wheeler has scored four goals in each of the last two games.

The Lady Redskins cal clinch a berth in the upcoming District 4, Class A playoffs.

In their first meeting, Sayre edged Mansfield, 2-1, in overtime.

VOLLEYBALL
Waverly (6-7) at Newfield (3-9), 5 p.m. JV start:
The Lady Wolverines are coming off a five-set loss to Newark Valley Wednesday night, while the Lady Trojans were swept at Watkins Glen.

In their first meeting, Waverly swept Newfield by scores of 25-11, 25-10, and 25-10.

Troy (6-5) at Athens (2-9), 6 p.m. JV start: The Lady Wildcats are coming off a 3-0 loss at Wellsboro Tuesday night, while the Lady Trojans dropped a 3-1 decision at Wyalusing.

In their first meeting, Troy won via sweep by scores of 25-17, 25-18, and 26-24.

GIRLS SWIMMING
Notre Dame at Waverly (6-3), 4:30 p.m.:
The Lady Wolverines are coming off a 95-91 loss to Watkins Glen Tuesday.

In their first meeting, senior Paige Miller and junior Kennedy Wheeler each won four events to lead Waverly to a 98-55 win.

FIELD HOCKEY
S-VE (4-7) at Maine-Endwell, 4:30 p.m.:
Following a 2-1 double-OT loss at home to Owego Tuesday, the Lady Panthers wrap up the 2017 campaign on turf this afternoon at powerhouse Vestal.

Chenango Valley at Waverly, 5 p.m.
