SAYRE  Powerhouse Wyalusing won all six contested bouts by fall, and received eight forfeits in an 84-0 win over Sayre here Wednesday night in NTL wrestling action.

The Rams scored four falls in the first period, and two more in the second period. In all, there was a total of nine minutes and 23 seconds of action on the mat.

The shutout win marks the third consecutive year Wyalusing has blanked Sayre winning 71-0 last year, and 76-0 in 2015-16.

The last time a Sayre wrestler had his hand raised against Wyalusing in a dual meet was in a 68-6 loss during the 2014-15 season when J.P. Harbst and Dylan Whipple each won decisions.

Sayre returns to action this weekend at the annual Mike Watson Invitational at Watkins Glen High School.
