One day after Sayre and Athens opened their regular seasons, Tioga and Waverly played in their one and only preseason scrimmages Saturday.

Tioga took to the field in the morning against Class A Vestal and Class B Owego and Susquehanna Valley, while Waverly hosted Class A Union-Endicott.
