LERAYSVILLE - Tioga shook off a slow start and rallied from an early deficit to post a 46-40 win over Northeast Bradford here Saturday evening in non-league boys basketball action.

Tony Bisognano knocked down a pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter, and Clayton Connor scored four points to held the Panthers to a 12-8 lead after the first eight minutes.

Seniors Pierce Hendershot, who canned a 3-pointer, and Lucas Klossner scored six points apiece in the second quarter, and junior Thomas Cook added four points as Tioga rallied to take a 24-22 lead at the halftime intermission.

The two teams battled back-and-forth in the third quarter, and Tioga took a 35-33 lead into the final eight minutes.

In the fourth quarter, Hendershot and Cook scored four points apiece, and Klossner drained a key 3-pointers to help put the game away.

Hendershot led Tioga with 14 points, while Klossner added 13, Cook scored 11, and senior Derrick Barto chipped in with six points.

Zak Smith led NEB with 12 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.

Tioga, now 5-6, hosts Southern Cayuga Tuesday.
