SAYRE - Bloomsburg outscored Sayre 36-11 over the middle two quarters en route to a 63-26 rout here Saturday afternoon in non-league boys basketball action.

Freshman Brayden Horton knocked down a 3-pointer to give Sayre a 3-0 lead, and a bucket by senior Gage Carnrike tied the game at 7-7 in the final minute of the first quarter.

From that point on, it was all Bloomsburg.

The Tigers scored the final three points of the first quarter, and used an 11-2 run in the second quarter to take a 21-9 lead into the halftime intermission.

Bloomsburg opened the second half with a 17-4 run, and outscored the Redskins 25-9 in the stanza to take a 46-18 lead into the final eight minutes.

Senior Gage Carnrike had six points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots for the Redskins, while sophomore Zach Belles had six points and seven boards, and sophomore Connor Young added six points.

Sayre, now 5-14, hosts NEB Monday night in its final home game of the season.
