Valley Sports ReportDUSHORE - Sullivan County scored eight runs in its final two at-bats to pull away for a 14-6 five-inning win over Williams Toyota in Sayre Little League Minors Division baseball action.
Ty Owen's RBI singled a three-run rally in the top of the first inning to state Williams Toyota to an early 3-0 lead.
Sullivan County answered with one run in the home half of the first, then scored five more in the second to take a 6-3 lead.
Williams Toyota tied the game in the top of the third, scoring three runs without the benefit of a hit, taking advantage of five walks and a hit batsman.
Owen singled, scored one run, and drove in one run, while Isaac Roy singled and scored one run, and Charlie Salsman added a single. Ethan Frye scored a pair of runs for Williams Toyota, while Declan Barry and Michael Sutryk each scored one run, and Landon Jacobson drove in one run.
Williams Toyota, now 1-2, takes on First Citizens Saturday afternoon.
