COLLEGE TRACK & FIELD: ATHENS GRAD LUNGER NAMED NORTHEAST CONFERENCE'S 'MOST OUTSTANDING ROOKIE' (2019-06-14)

LORETTA, Pa. "” Athens grad Emily Lunger, a freshman on the St. Francis women's track & field team, was recently named the Northeast Conference's "Most Outstanding Rookie."

Lunger, who earned 25 team points for St. Francis at the Northeast Conference Championships, made the all-rookie team in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.85, and the high jump at 5-feet, 4 1/2-inches.

Lunger was also named to the NEC Indoor All-Rookie Team in the high jump this winter.
