WAVERLY "” Waverly had four runners finish in the top six, led by senior Sheridan Talada, to earn four wins here Tuesday afternoon in IAC cross country action at the Tomasso's Golf Course.

Waverly had 22 placement points, and Dryden had 34 points, while SVEC, Marathon, and Whitney Point did not field full teams.

Talada clocked in at 18:12.5 in the win, while senior Elizabeth Fritzen was third in 19:30.1, sophomore Olivia Nittinger was fourth in 20:01.5, and senior Paige Ackley was sixth in 21:02.4.

Junior Hali Jenner was 14th in 25:32.5 for the Lady Wolverines, while sophomore Aubrey Akins was 15th in 25:35.7, senior Kaleigh Akins was 21st in 28:32.8, and senior Rachel Ovedovitz was 22nd in 28:36.5.

Elizabeth Vaughn won the modified girls ran in a time of 10:40.2, while Harper Minaker was second in 11:19.6, and Allison Barrett was fourth in 12:22.1.

Waverly returns to action Saturday at the McDaniel-Baxter Invite at Chenango Valley High School.
