IAC BOYS BOWLING: POND LEADS TIOGA IN LOPSIDED SWEEP OF MARATHON (2019-12-10)
Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY "” Junior Kolton Pond rolled a 600 series to lead Tioga to a lopsided sweep of Marathon here Tuesday afternoon in IAC boys bowling action at the Valley Bowling Center.
The Tigers won each game by at least 230 pins for a total-pinfall count of 2,722 to 1,668.
Pond rolled a 613 series on games of 163, 227, and 223, while sophomore Rocco Fariello shot a 577, including games of 212 and 238, and freshman Gage Cain had a 542.
Jarrett Myers shot a 516 for the Tigers in the sweep, while freshman Frank Chapman added a 445, and sophomore Dylan Slater tacked on a 443.
Dominic Forrest led Marathon with a 372.
Tioga, now 11-1, squares off with Waverly Thursday at the Valley Bowling Center.
