TOWANDA "” The Waverly Youth Wrestling Club crowned five champions and finished third in the team standings here Sunday at the  Towanda Rockin' Round Robin Tournament.

Towanda won the team title with 82 points, while runner-up Independent Wrestling Club had 74 points, and the Little Wolverines posted 72 points.

Four-year-old Lucas Wolcott (13-4 ) won group 1, with a 5-0 record, including four four pins.

Mason Phillips (23-1) won group 2, going 5-0 with five pins, and Bryce Wolcott (17-2) won group 3, going 5-0 with five pins.

Triton Floyd (22-5) won group 16, going 5-0 with two technical falls, and Eli Keeney (9-4) won group 18, going 5-0 with five pins.

Waverly also had four second-place finishes, and two third-place finishes.

Bryce Stanton (5-5) finished second with his only loss to teammate Mason Phillips, while Ricky Sindoni (7-1) finished second, with his only loss a 9-5 decision, Leah Wolcott (7-3) finished second, with her only loss a 10-5 decision, and Austin Conklin (8-8) finished second, with his only loss a 9-3 decision.

Finishing third for the Wolverines were Todd LaForest and Malia Phillips.

Also competing for Waverly were Jase Stark, Roark Ward, Leiland Stark, Malaikah Pittman, Jeremy Cleveland, Gage Floyd, Damian Barrett, Kevin Hollenbeck and Skyler Perry.

Next for Waverly youth wrestling will be a dual again Tioga Tigers on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., prior to Waverly-Tioga Varsity match at Waverly High School. They will then wrestle a dual at the Athens Lil' Cats at Cornell University on Saturday at 11 a.m.
