WOMEN'S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: TIOGA GRAD RICHTER BIG PART OF BROOME'S FOUR-GAME WIN STREAK (2020-01-14)
Valley Sports ReportBINGHAMTON - The SUNY Broome Community College women's basketball team is riding a four-game win streak and Tioga grad Bekah Richter has started in all four of those games.
On Saturday, Richter scored eight points, on 4 of 8 shooting, grabbed three rebounds, and had one assist in a 57-42 win over Tompkins-Cortland Community College.
On Thursday, Richter had one of the best games of the year, with nine points, a career-high eight rebounds, including four offensive boards, and one steal in a 54-47 win over Finger Lakes Community College.
On the season, Richter has started in eight of BCC's 13 games. She is averaging 4.6 points and 3.2 rebounds per game.
Broome, now 5-8, returns to action tonight at Onondaga CC.
