WOMEN'S INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: ATHENS GRAD GAMBRELL RECORDS FIRST-, SECOND-PLACE FINISHES AT NITTANY LION CHALLENGE (2020-01-14)

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Athens grad Breana Gambrell, a sophomore on the Penn State women's track & field team, posted a first-, and second-place finish here Saturday at the Nittany Lion Indoor Track & Field Challenge.

Gambrell won the triple jump at 40-feet, 7-inches, topping the second-place finisher by 1 3/4-inches.

She was second in the long jump at 20-feet, 1/8-inch - 1/2-inch behind teammate Madeline Holmberg.

Penn State returns to action Jan. 24-25 at the Rod McCravy Memorial at Lexington, Ky.
