THE VALLEY - The Sayre and Tioga are at home on the hardwoods tonight, while the Athens boys travel to Troy for a key NTL Large School hoop match-up, and the Athens wrestlers are on the road to renew their rivalry with Wyalusing.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Athens (8-3 overall, 6-2 NTL Large) at Troy (7-5, 6-2), 6 p.m. JV start:
The Wildcats are coming off a 53-31 win over first-place Wyalusing Friday night, while the Trojans dropped a 67-60 decision at Wellsboro.

Athens and Troy are tied for second place, 1 game behind Wyalusing.

North Penn-Liberty (12-1, 7-1 NTL Small) at Sayre (6-6, 3-5), 6 p.m. JV start: The Redskins are coming off a 60-52 win over Canton, while the first-place Mountaineers rolled to an 86-63 win over Williamson.

Deposit-Hancock (8-5) at Tioga (0-10), 5:30 p.m. JV start:
The Tigers are coming off a 57-44 loss to Union Springs Friday, while the Lumberjacks are coming off a 54-44 loss to Unadilla Valley.

WRESTLING
Athens (10-5 overall, 6-1 NTL) at Wyalusing (12-5, 4-1), 6 p.m.:
The Wildcats are coming off a 39-38 loss to first-place Canton, while the Rams topped Troy, 59-21.

Canton topped Wyalusing, 45-30.

Wyalusing's top records belong to senior Jackson Chilson (20-1 at 285), junior Colbrin Nolan (15-2 at 138 and 145), Logan Newton (19-3 at 152), Nicholas Woodruff (16-6 at 132), Zach Shaffer (15-6 at 170), sophomore Skyler Manahan (14-6 at 138 and 145), Hunter Manahan (14-7 at 120).

NP-L's top records belong to senior Roger Learn (14-4 at 106 pounds) and Kohen Lehman (12-8 at 170).

Sayre had seven wrestlers in the line-up Saturday, while NP-L had eight in action against Athens.
