WAVERLY - After losing the first game, Tioga rebounded to win the next two in a 3-1 win over Candor to clinch their fifth consecutive Large School Division title here Tuesday afternoon in IAC boys bowling action at the Valley Bowling Center.

Candor delayed Tioga's title celebration with an 882-856 win in the first game, but the Tigers bounced back with wins of 964-798, and 936-874 for a total-pinfall victory of 2,756 to 2,554.

Sophomore Rocco Fariello led Tioga with a 610 series on games of 161, 191, and 258, while sophomore Dylan Slater rolled a 597 on games of 206, 179, and 212, and junior Kolton Pond had a 576 series, including a 247 in the second game.

Freshman Gage Cain had a 478 for the Tigers, while freshman Frank Chapman added a 474, and sophomore Jarrett Myers tacked on a 466.

Kody Floyd led Candor with a 645 series, and Garrett Lyndhurst shot a 606.

Tioga returns to action Thursday at Groton.
