VESTAL "” Tioga shot its high game of the season in the first game, and finished sixth here Friday at the Section IV, Class D championships at Midway Lanes.

The Lady Tigers rolled a 727 in the first game, topping their previous high this season of 703.

Hancock won the Class D title with a three-game set of 2,654, well ahead of runner-up Unadilla Valley, which shot a 2,518, and third-place Candor tallied a 2,429. Bainbridge-Guilford for was fourth with a 2,402, while O-M was fifth with a 2,202, and Tioga tallied a 1,937.

Hancock also had the high game with an 883.

Hancock's Breanna Gleim won the individual gold with a 673 series, while Kaitlyn Floyd won the silver with a 601, and Hancock's McKenzie Worzel won the bronze medal with a 593.

Senior Bailey Elston led the Lady Tigers with a 426 series, which tied her for 25th place, while senior Mackenzie Macumber had a 405, and freshman Caroline Chapman shot a 399.

Bobbi Jo Tarbox added a 361 series for Tioga, while junior Cassie Birney rolled games of 133 and 103, and Destini Sweet shot a 110.
