COLLEGE WRESTLING: TIOGA GRAD LAMB WINS WEIGHT CLASS AT MIDEAST SOUTHEAST FUTURES (2020-02-23)

ALLENTOWN "” Tioga grad Austin Lamb, a freshman on the RIT wrestling team, went 5-0 here Sunday at Muhlenberg College to win the 157-pound bracket at the Mideast Southeast Futures Tournament.

Lamb, the fourth seed, began his day with a pin of Gettysburg College's Mike Daugherty in 1:38 in the opening round, then blanked RIT teammate Ian Houck, 3-0, in the round-of-16.

In the quarterfinals, Lamb decked Eddie Williams of York College in 1:39. He flattened top-seed Deontae Frederick of McDaniel College in 1:50 in the semifinals.

In the finals, Lamb topped Ronnie Grevera of Muhlenberg College in a 5-2 decision.

On the season, Lamb is 22-8 with eight falls.
