COLLEGE BASEBALL: TIOGA GRAD HENDERSHOT RECORDS THIRD MULTI-HIT EFFORT IN FIVE GAMES (2020-02-24)

CARY, N.C. "” Tioga grad Parker Hendershot, a junior on the Penn State baseball team, recorded his third multi-hit game of the young season Sunday in the Nittany Lions' extra-inning win over Wagner here at the USA Baseball National Training Complex.

After an 0-for-4 outing in Penn State's 1-0 loss to Wagner Saturday in the first game of a doubleheader, Hendershot singled and scored two runs in an 11-0 win in the nightcap.

On Sunday, Hendershot tripled, singled, and scored one run in five at-bats in Penn State's 4-2 11-inning win over Wagner.

Hendershot, who has started five of six games, is hitting .368 (7 hits in 19 ABs) with one triple, five runs scored, and three RBI.

Defensively, he is flawless in 33 defensive chances, with three assists.

Penn State, now 4-2, returns to action Friday in the first game of a four-game series against Princeton at the USA Baseball National Training Complex.
