WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD: ATHENS GRAD GAMBRELL MEDALS IN TWO EVENTS AT BIG TEN INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS (2020-03-04)

GENEVA, Ohio - Athens grad Breana Gambrell earned a pair of trips to the podium here over the weekend at the Big Ten Indoor Track & Field Championships at the SPIRE Institute.

Gambrell finished seventh in the long jump at 19-feet 2 1/2-inches. She was also seventh in the triple jump with a hop, skip, and jump of 39-feet, 10 3/4-inches

At the Penn State Tune-up on Feb. 21, Gambrell earned a win, and a second-place finish.

Gambrell won the long jump with a leap of 20-feet, 1/2-inch, and was second in the triple jump with an effort of 40-feet, 3 1/4-inches.
