WAVERLY - The Hemp Geek / Bradford Hospitality Indians scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to pull out a 9-7 win over the Tomasso's Restaurant & Golf Course Blue Jays here Tuesday evening in the semifinals of the Waverly Little League Majors Division playoffs.

The Indians will now face the Naglee Moving & Storage / Becky's Diner Angels in the championship game.

After the teams traded two runs in the first inning, the Blue Jays scored three runs in the top of the second on consecutive RBI singles by Lucas Pradun, Alex McQuay, and Karson Sipley to take a 5-2 lead.

The Indians answered with two runs in the home half of the second on an RBI double by Jack Pipher and an RBI single by Hogan Shaw to trim the deficit to 5-4.

Brandon Bennett ripped a two-run double in the top of the fourth to give the Blue Jays a 7-4 lead, but the Indians responded with five runs in the home half. Shaw belted a two-RBI double to cut the lead to 7-6, and the Indians scored their final three runs on a pair of errors.

Shaw doubled and singled, scored one run, and had three RBI, while Pipher doubled and singled, scored three runs, and drove in one run, and Justin Koenig singled twice, scored one run, and knocked in one run to account for the Indians' six hits.

Jerry Carnrike scored a pair of runs in the win, and Nicholas Robbins, and Ben Shaw each crossed the plate once.

Shaw earned the win on the mound for the Indians, allowing two runs - both unearned - on two hits, while fanning 11 and walking one in 4 2/3 innings of relief.

McQuay had three hits, including a double, one run scored, and three RBI to lead the Blue Jays' eight-hit attack, while Pradun singled, scored two runs, and drove in one run, and Bennett doubled and knocked in two runs.

Sipley singled, scored one run, and drove in one run for the Blue Jays, while Cooper Robinson singled and scored two runs, and Charan Venkataswamy singled and scored one run.

Robinson had the best turn on the mound for the Blue Jays, allowing two earned runs on three hits, while striking out five and walking two in 3 1/3 innings of relief.
