AUTO RACING: WAVERLY'S SHAW EARNS SECOND FEATURE WIN AT LAKE ERIE SPEEDWAY (2020-08-17)

ERIE - Waverly's D.J. Shaw earned his second feature win of the season here Saturday in the 4-Cylinder Division at Lake Erie Speedway.

Shaw, who finished second in his heat, started in the eighth spot in the 37-lap feature.

Shaw quickly moved up to fourth place, and remained there through lap 19. On Lap 20, the second- and third-place cars got together, and Shaw moved into second place before the caution flag flew.

On the re-start, Shaw, driving the Hemp Geek #0 car, made a move around the leader, and led the remainder of the race.

Waverly's Bryce Bailey had engine troubles early in the feature and finished 31st.
