THE VALLEY "” Sayre hosts the only events on Saturday's docket, both on the soccer pitch at the Lockhart Street Bowl.

The Lady Redskins host Wellsboro in the morning, while the boys host crosstown rival Athens in the afternoon.

BOYS SOCCER
Athens (3-1) at Sayre (1-3), 1 p.m.: The Wildcats are coming off a 3-0 win over Williamson Thursday, while the Redskins, who had their game against Wellsboro Thursday postponed, dropped a 6-4 decision at North Penn-Liberty on Tuesday.

Athens has not allowed a goal in its three wins this season, including a 2-0 victory over Sayre in the season's first week.

GIRLS SOCCER
Wellsboro (2-1) at Sayre (1-3),  10 a.m.: The Lady Redskins are coming off a 5-2 loss to Sullivan County Monday, while the Lady Green Hornets have been off since a 6-1 win over Wyalusing last Saturday.
