NTL VOLLEYBALL: NEB SWEEPS SAYRE (2020-10-17)

LERAYSVILLE "” NEB bounced back from a loss to Canton Friday with a sweep of Sayre here Saturday night in NTL volleyball action.

The Lady Panthers won by scores of 25-8, 25-8, and 25-12.

Elizabeth Boyle led Sayre with seven setter assists, and two digs, while Gianna Quattrini had four kills, Aliyah Rawlings recorded five digs, and Gabbi Randall added two kills and one block.

Rachel Vandermark had four digs for the Lady Redskins, while Makenna Garrison registered two kills, and Emma Smith chipped in with two digs.

Julianna Susanj led NEB with 14 points, including nine aces, eight assists, four digs, and two kills, while Megan Kovacs had 13 points (four aces), Kylie Lewis had 10 points (three aces), nine assists, and five digs, and Emily Susanj had 10 kills, six points (two aces), three blocks and four digs.

Sayre, now 0-11, returns to action Tuesday at Williamson.
