GIRLS BASKETBALL
Canton at Athens (15-6), 6 p.m. varsity start: The Lady Wildcats are coming off a 42-21 home win over North Penn-Mansfield Thursday, while the Warriors dropped a 39-36 decision at home to North Penn-Liberty.

Athens is the second seed in the District 4, Class AAAA standings, while Canton is 10th in the Class AA standings.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Sayre (4-12) at Cowanesque Valley (3-12), 6 p.m. varsity start: The Redskins are coming off a 63-56 home loss to Canton Thursday night, while the Indians are coming off a 78-57 home loss to NEB.

Sayre is the seventh seed in the District 4, Class AA playoff race, while CV is in ninth place in the standings..

Athens (12-8) at North Penn-Mansfield (9-8), 7:30 p.m. varsity ONLY: The Wildcats are coming off a 73-54 win at Towanda Thursday night, while the Tigers are coming off a 69-39 win over Williamson.

Athens is currently the fifth seed in the Class AAAA playoff standings, while NP-M is in 10th place in a tightly-contest Class AAA field.

WRESTLING
Newark Valley at Waverly, 5:30 p.m. modified start: The Wolverines host the Cardinals in what will likely be a series of matches to get each grappler as many matches as possible.
