OLEAN, N.Y. - St. Bonaventure dropped three of four at home in the final series of the series, but the Bonnies' three Valley grads - Sayre's Matt Williams, Tioga's Pierce Hendershot, and Waverly's Brendyn Stillman - all closed the season strong.

On Friday, all three Valley grads hit home runs in St. Bonaventure's 11-10 eight-inning loss to Fordham.

On Saturday, Fordham won the first game of a doubleheader, 2-1, but St. Bonaventure won the nightcap, 12-11, on Hendershot's walk-off three-RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning.

On Sunday, the Bonnies dropped a 14-12 slugfest in the season finale.

After hitting his first collegiate home run Friday night, Hendershot, a freshman, was 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored, and a career-high three RBI in the nightcap of Saturday's twinbill.

In the final game of the season, Hendershot doubled in four at-bats.

On the season, Hendershot batted .275 with six doubles, one triple, one home run, nine RBI, and eight runs scored. He also walked 11 times and had an on-base percentage of .352.

After hitting his second home run of the season Friday, Williams, a junior, hit two more over the weekend.

After going 0-for-3 in the first game of the doubleheader Saturday, Williams was 3-for-5 with two doubles, a home run, three RBI, and two stolen bases in the nightcap.

On Sunday, Williams homered and singled, scored one run, and drove in three runs.

On the season, Williams batted .248 (26 hits in 105 ABs) with five doubles, one triple, four homer runs, 20 RBI, and 20 runs scored. He also drew 16 walks and had a .362 on-base percentage.

After going 0-for-2 in both games of the doubleheader Saturday, Stillman stroked a pair of singles and scored two runs in the season finale.

On the season, Stillman, a junior, hit .250 (27 hits in 108 ABs) with 10 doubles, one triple, four home runs, 16 RBI, and 20 runs scored. He also walked 16 times and had an on-base percentage of .354.

St. Bonaventure finished the season with a 7-24 record.
