WAVERLY "” The regular-season champion Stateliness / PS Bank Indians scored in the bottom of the seventh inning for a, 5-4, walk-off win over the Tom's Hardware / Chandler Antiques Yankees here Monday night in the Waverly Little League Majors Division championship game.

The Yankees reached the finals with a win over the Naglee Moving & Storage / Rynone's Phillies in the semifinals, while the Indians received a bye by virtue of winning the regular-season title.

The Indians scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth to take a 4-1 lead, but the Yankees answered with three runs in the top of the fifth inning to tie the game at 4-4.

Axel Murray reached base with one out in the bottom of the seventh, and eventually scored the game-winning run.

Murray scored two runs, while Lucas Fioure singled and scored one run, Cullen Sharpsteen singled, and Jax Myers and Maddex Presher each scored one run for the Indians.

Maison Apgar singled twice, and Griffin Walter doubled and scored one run for Yankees, while Austin Burns singled and scored one run, Chase Sims singled, and Brody Lambert scored one run.
