NTL CROSS COUNTRY: SAYRE GIRLS, BOYS FALL AT CANTON (2021-09-21)

CANTON - The Canton cross country team both earned wins over Sayre here Tuesday afternoon in NTL cross country action.

The Warriors won the boys over a short-handed Redskin squad, 15-50, and the Lady Warriors team, with just four runners, topped Sayre, 24-12, in a modified scoring system. The Lady Redskins had just three runners.

GIRLS
Canton 12, Sayre 24
Corey Ault finished fourth in a time of 23:43 to lead the Lady Redskins, while Rose Shikanga was fifth in 24:39, and Deborah Shikanga was seventh in 27:10.

BOYS
Canton 15, Sayre 50
Braylon DeKay was Sayre's lone runner and finished third in 19.48 seconds on the shortened 2.68-mile course.
