THE VALLEY "” It's a light night of action, but there's a Valley volleyball rivalry to be renewed, and a key NTL girls soccer game on the docket.

VOLLEYBALL
Tioga (4-0) at Waverly (3-1), 5 p.m. JV start: The Lady Tigers are coming off a sweep of O-M Tuesday, while the Lady Wolverines topped Newfield, 3-1.

Waverly's lone loss was to Edison. Tioga swept the Lady Spartans in the season opener.

GIRLS SOCCER
Wellsboro (1-3 overall, 1-1 NTL) at Athens (3-3, 2-0), 5:30 p.m.: The Lady Wildcats are coming off losses to New York state powers Fayetteville-Manlius and New Hartford at the Baldwinsville Tournament,, while the Lady Green Hornets dropped a 2-0 to Williamson.

GIRLS SOCCER
SVEC at Waverly (2-1), 7 p.m.: The Lady Wolverines are coming off a 7-0 win over Tioga Monday, while the Lady Eagles dropped a 4-0 decision to O-M.

FIELD HOCKEY
Tioga (0-4) at Moravia, 5 p.m.: The Lady Tigers are coming off a 2-1 loss to Marathon on Sept. 14, while Moravia dropped a 3-0 decision to SVEC Thursday.
